My approach to UX research is steeped in a deep appreciation for the social and spatial contexts in which products and services are used. I believe that designing an effective service or product begins with a thorough, unbiased research process that lays assumptions on the table and matches methods with the particular needs of the situation.

I have a background in human geography and have researched and taught classes at CUNY, NYU, and UCLA on topics including housing and home, cities and sexuality, and urban ecology.

Originally from the rural American South, I lived in France and New York City before recently relocating to Los Angeles.
